Aerosmith Bassist and the Dirty Beanie Babies
Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton got his son into trouble after sending him to school with one of his obscene Beanie Babies. He had 8000 of the plush toys made, calling them Obscenies…which he calls, “The equivalent to Beanie Babies except they’re dirty.”
No wonder teachers didn’t appreciate the character named Scrotilla The Hun or Robin Redbreasts! If you’re sitting on a bunch of cash, Hamilton hasn’t been able to find anyone who wanted to sell them.
During a Question and Answer period, drummer Lars Ulrich was asked about the meaning of the film…to which he replied
“You know what, I’ve spent three years working on this movie and I don’t have any idea what it means.”
The film’s main character, Trip, is played by Dane DeHaan (who also landed the role of Harry Osborn in next year’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Paul McCartney played a concert in Seattle over the weekend, where he reunited with Sirvana – that’s what some websites are calling the remaining members of Nirvana when they’re on stage with Paul. In their last few performances together, they’ve only played Cut Me Some Slack off the Sound City Soundtrack. Friday, Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear joined Sir Paul for Helter Skelter, Get Back and a Little Richard cover of Long Tall Sally.
