56th Annual Grammy Nominees
Although it’s weird to see Nirvana up for a Grammy in 2013, their song Cut Me Some Slack featuring Paul McCartney is up for Best Rock Song against Black Sabbath’s God Is Dead?, Muse Panic Station and The Rolling Stones Doom and Gloom.
Best Metal Performance could go to Black Sabbath for God is Dead? or even Anthrax for their cover of AC/DC’s T.N.T.
It’s going to be tight for Best Rock Album this year…Sabbath’s 13 is up against David Bowie’s The Next Day, Kings of Leon Mechanical Bull, Queens of the Stone Age …Like Clockwork, Neil Young & Crazy Horse Psychedelic Pill , and Led Zeppelin Celebration Day.

Metallica Does Antarctica
While some bands are talking about performing in space these days, Metallica had their hearts set on Antarctica. Audience members had to listen to the show through headphones, but the band claims it was “the most unique show” they’ve ever played.
