Whether you believe the world is going to end because of a meteor, zombies or global warming, here are some places that would be THE SAFEST to live with the most resources courtesy of Architzer.com :
Greenbriar Resort, White Sulphur Springs, WV
This resort and golf club is a getaway for Washington, D.C. vacationers, but it also has a huge bunker underneath that was a “top secret government relocation facility for Congress.” Located in the hills of West Virginia, it definitely won’t be easy for zombies to find.
Fashion Institute of Technology, New York, NY
FIT, on the westside of Manhattan, has relatively few windows and is made of concrete, offering protection from whatever nature or the terrorists can throw at you. Plus, its a fashion school, so no one would really think to look for you there.
The Pyramids, Giza, Egypt
If you are lucky enough to get in, these are possibly the thickest walls in the world. Just be careful of booby traps on the way down.
Željava Air Base, Bihać, Bosnia
Built to withstand nuclear blasts as big as the one in Nagasaki, this underground structure is military-grade fortified. It was once used as an airbase, but is now a ruin, and the surrounding area is littered with mines and bombs, so it would be difficult to come at you by ground.
Bloomfield Lodge, Queensland, Australia
Located in the outer reaches of Australia’s Far North Queensland region, this hotel is very difficult to access. It is in the middle of a rainforest, so there will be plenty to eat.
Yukon Hotel, Dawson City, Yukon
The Yukon is another place rural enough to evade people who want to steal your food, but also rich in natural resources. This quaint little hotel should make an excellent hideout.
