Dear American Horror Story fan: clear your schedule for the evening of October 8th!
The fourth season of AHS, “Freak Show,” debuts at 10pm that night. You can expect to see some familiar faces this season (playing new characters, of course): Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, and Gabourey Sidibe are among those returning.
New to the show will be Michael Chiklis, Finn Wittrock (The Normal Heart), John Carroll Lynch (Fargo), Wes Bentley (The Hunger Games), Jyoti Amge (the world’s smallest living woman), and Patti LaBelle (for four episodes).
Here’s how FX describes the upcoming season:
American Horror Story: Freak Show “begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience.”
Sounds…freaky. Don’t miss it!
