“Our idea came to life when the group of us decided that we spend way too much money on a wedding gown to only wear it once. We thought it would be fun to have a “girls’ night” in our wedding gowns, whether we were married to the dress or not. We could have a few drinks, do some dancing and have a whole lot of fun… and we did!
From this night spun a brand new adventure and the creation of Dressfest.
This night of celebration enabled us to share the same excitement we did on our own individual wedding days, without the pressure. It is difficult to express the feeling we experienced when staring into a kitchen full of ten brides with smiles on their faces and a song in their hearts. This is what we wanted to share with others.
Our mission is to continue this adventure every year and raise money for a good cause that will help our community.”
