This weekend’s Top 10 will feature a guest of honour, Garth Richardson, who’s in town to attend the Jack Richardson London Music Awards. Garth is the son of the late producer, Jack Richardson. He’s got an impressive resume of his own, and I’ll speak to him about working with bands including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, Alice Cooper and London’s very own KITTIE. Representatives from FACTOR will explain their new granting program and how it has opened up to offer artist more than ever before! Reps from OMDC – Ontario Music Fund and London Arts Council will also be discussing their granting programs. This is a must attend event for anyone that is serious about building a career in music.

Canada’s music Incubator along with the London Music Office & Tourism London present Artist Manager Bootcamp May 14 – 15th.
This bootcamp is FREE and runs Saturday (9am-6pm) and Sunday (9am-3pm) with the objective of providing customized, hands-on and high-level mentorship to a maximum of 15 pre-selected artist managers, self-managed artists or transitioning industry professionals.
Bootcamp activities and topics will include: One-On-One Mentorship, Running Your Business, Pitching, Negotiating, Networking, Touring, Marketing, Funding, Team Building, Publicity, Contracts and more.
