Knights Get Revenge on Erie
A year ago Erie kicked the London Knights out of the playoffs. Fast forward a year, we just sent those boys back to Erie with the saddest little faces. I got a pretty good look at ‘em crawling off the ice last night after a four game sweep after another 5-1 win for the Knights. They swept the Rangers in the series before, too.
Up next, off to the OHL finals against the Niagara Ice Dogs, and hopefully their fourth OHL title. The last time we made it that far was 2013.
We don’t have a schedule for the next round yet, but tickets did go on sale this morning at 10am >> http://londonknights.com/
Ready for an Electric Vehicle?

Forked River Brewery Honours Veterans with Special Brew
As you stock up on beer for the weekend, you might want to go with a local choice. Forked River Brewing has a special limited edition batch of PORTER they’re calling The Black Watch – it’s a tribute to veterans and armed forces, named after the oldest highland regiment in both Canada and the UK, originally called the 5th Battalion. If it’s a hit, they could be selling a lot more this fall, they’ve even put in an application to the LCBO stock it for a seasonal release.
For now, there are only 600 growlers available to buy at the store on Pacific Court and Poacher’s Arms on Richmond has it on tap.
Anyone else Thirsty now?
