European Tour Poster:
There was already trouble; Bonzo and Page struggling with alcohol and drug addictions, two weeks before the Berlin show, the band had stop after three songs because Bonzo was rushed to the hospital after ‘food poisoning,’ but some reports said it was just a blackout.
The band was scheduled to tour North America in support of the same album in October. September 24th, after Bonzo downed (allegedly) 40 measure of Vodka within 12 hours, he passed and Led Zeppelin would never be the same.
Yes, the band would re-unite on various occassions with Bonzo’s son, Jason Bonham, but Zeppelin fans all over the world would do anything to see that original line-up live again. To commemorate Zeppelin’s final show, with all original members, let’s go with 5 LIVE Zeppelin songs for 5 @ 5 today.
