LONDON MUSIC CENSUS
Do you listen to music? Of course you do! Let’s get your feedback in the first ever London Music Census taking place online at www.londonmusicoffice.com/census. We are also looking for information from Musicians, Venues, Festival or event organizations, and music fans. If you fall within one of those categories, you’ll help us better understand the state of the music industry here in London. Take a couple minutes to fill out a non-intrusive survey. Do your part to help grow London’s music community.
The outcomes of this initiative will be shared in a publicly available report September 2016.

Monday evening (July 18) the Planning and Environment Committee will hear from the general public about the proposed changes to By-Law section 4.18 (5) which currently states no amplified entertainment or dancing is allowed on patios… ya, we live in a ‘Footloose Society’. See attached link for trailer to aforementioned 80’s reference Have your voice heard! Come participate and offer your opinion on this matter. Are you in favour of hearing recorded ambient music on patios? Would you like to hear musicians on private patios?
Planning & Environment Committee will consider this application at its meeting on Monday, July 18, 2016 no earlier than 5:30 p.m. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall, located at 300 Dufferin Avenue
