The Great Sandwich Board Mystery
You remember hearing about this two weeks ago… London by-Law officers went around confiscating sandwich boards outside downtown businesses in the core, saying they were disrupting flow of traffic on our sidewalks. Well this is weird, over the weekend, all those sandwich boards have mysteriously re-appeared at their designated shops.
AM980 is hearing someone broke into a city compound holding the signs over the weekend.
You’ll remember owners were told they’d have to pay to get their signs back and ensure they have the right license. We’ll let you know how the investigation is going as it unfolds.

Brandon Prust Foundation $100,000 Donation
Former London Knight, Brandon Prust, has generously donated $100,000 to Ivey Special Eye Examination Services for the iSee Vision Screening Research Program at St. Joseph’s Health Care, on behalf of his foundation.
One pediatric Eye Specialist with the Ivey Eye Institute says other provinces already have these screening programs set up for children that are 2-3 years old which helps identify eye conditions that can lead to lazy eye.
Photoscreening only requires a child to sit still for a few seconds, and involves no drops or pain. It’s as simple as getting your picture taken, and the screening camera gives immediate results.
