Winner Selection Process:
Stage 1 (voting): During the Voting Period, the public will be able to vote for their favourite Submission in order to help select 10 eligible finalists (the “Finalist(s)”). There is no limit to the number of times you can vote during the Voting Period, however you cannot vote more than once for the same Submission, per browser session. If it is discovered that attempts were made to vote more than once for the same Submission per browser session, then the Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify the votes and/or the Submission to which such votes relate. Further, if it is discovered that you have attempted to use any automated, script, macro or robotic program(s) to submit votes, or to engage in systematic voting from the same computer/IP address over a short period of time, it may result in the disqualification, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor, of the votes and/or the Submission to which such votes relate. Immediately after the Voting Period, the top ten (10) Submissions as ranked according to the total number of eligible votes received during the Voting Period will be deemed to be selected Finalists and will be eligible to move on to the judging phase for determination of a Winner (subject to compliance with these Official Rules). In the event of a tie between two or more Submissions (based on the number of votes received during the Voting Period), a random draw will be held from amongst all such tied Submissions to determine who is eligible to move to the next phase of the Contest. Odds of being selected during the public voting stage depend on the caliber of each eligible entrant’s Submission and on the number of eligible votes received by each eligible entrant during the Voting Period.
Stage 2 (judging):
After February 19, 2012, an impartial panel of FM96 judges (the "Judges") will judge the eligible Submissions of the Finalists. The criteria that will be used by the Judges to determine the Grand Prize winner, in no particular order, includes creativity, originality, technical merit, and entertainment value. All criteria will be weighted equally. In the event of a tie, the entry with the highest score in entertainment value will be considered the potential winner. Odds of winning will depend on the caliber of each Finalist’s eligible Submission (but will be no worse than 1:25).
