9/11 Smoke N Bones FREE Southern BBQ Tasting FM96 will be doing a live remote broadcast from Smoke N Bones, London’s first authentic southern BBQ smokehouse. With sauces from Mississippi, the Carolina's and Texas in addition to our own sauce (yet to be named by an FM96 listener) right at your table. Smoke-N-Bones is a complete casual southern BBQ dining experience with a wide range of menu options that include both individual entrees and group share platters.

Stop by on Sept. 11 from 11am-3pm for lots of free giveaways, plus a free southern BBQ tasting. Come check out London’s only smokehouse with a truly unique dinning atmosphere that includes; group facilities, a multitude of both booth and regular seating, plus excellent viewing of our stage for live music! Plus an arcade with games and billiard table.

9/19 Terry Fox Run When Terry Fox recognized that he would not be able to complete his Marathon of Hope for cancer research in 1980, he bequeathed his mission to his fellow Canadians and The Terry Fox Run began. In keeping with the approach of its founder, the Run is a volunteer-led event, all-inclusive, non-competitive, with no pre-registration, entry fees or fundraising minimums. 9/26 Strength Behind the Uniform Walk It's $5.00/military person, and $25.00 for non-military persons. This gets you in the walk/run, with a t-shirt, bbq lunch, there will be kiddie displays like face-painting, reptiles and more. Prizes Prizes and more Prizes! You can register at the running-room online or drop by the London Military Family Resource Centre to register. We are located at 701 Oxford St. East at Wolseley Barracks at the back of the base, closer to Elizabeth St. entrance. The strength behind the uniform is designed to focus on military families and the day to day concerns they may face when a loved one is deployed overseas. All proceeds raised at this event will help the resource to focus on designing programs to meet these ever-changing needs of the military families we serve everyday across South Western Ontario. 11am, at Springbank Park
10/3 Annual "Bikers For Brains" Charity Ride. October is Brain Tumour Awareness Month! Join Us for the 1st Annual "Bikers For Brains" Charity Ride. All Makes All Models. Raise Pledges of $50 or more or just pay the $50 registration fee on the day and you get, a morning coffee, T-Shirt, approx. 2 1/2 hour group ride with halfway stop and refreshments, Chili Lunch, Prizes, Live Band...."Hurtin' Merv and the Painkillers" What a great Day for a Good Cause!
