Which country has the most vacation time?

This is a blog topic that affects us all - VACATION.

Which country in the world, do you think has the most generous vacation time?

Probably a European country right? They seem to be more lax over there.

Well you're right - Finland is the answer!

Finland allots a minimum of 30 paid vacation days a year to all employees after their 1st year of work, plus 14 stat holidays. That's 44 days!!!

How about us? Canada allots the legal minimum of 10 vacation days, plus in Ontario we have 8 stat holidays. That's 18 days and some of us work those stats.

We work people to the bone here and yet 2 in 10 Canadian employees do not take their full entitlement. PEOPLE USE YOUR HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!

What is worse is that in the United States, the state doesn't require employers to provide ANY paid vacation.
