Ramones ..Fall Into The GAP

A couple of stories of interest today:



The Ramones name will be part of a new Chuck Taylor All Star line coming out later this summer. The band, who wore Chuck Taylors onstage, will have their shoes offered as part of The Gaps RED line, with proceeds raising funds to help fight AIDS in Africa. The shoe itself will not only carry the Chuck Taylor logo, but also a Ramones patch that reads Hey ho, lets go.

Scott Stapp, the former Creed singer, was arrested Sunday for domestic assault at his home in Palm Beach, Florida. The Sun Sentinel reports that no one was injured in the alleged altercation, but there was evidence of assault in the household. Stapp was in court Monday, where the judge reduced the charge from a felony to a misdemeanor. As a result of the incident, the singer will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing. The singer wed former Miss New York Jaclyn Nesheiwat last year in Miami.
