Earlier this morning I was a guest reader at EVELYN HARRISON PUBLIC SCHOOL here in London (it's over behind Fanshawe College, if you're wondering.) They invited me along with a number of guests to take part in their Education Week and speak about the importance of reading. So, I want to thank Principal Fitzsimmons and all the staff including Miss Middlemiss and her Grade 7/8 class for having me. It was wonderful to see so many happy kids in a healthy environment for learning.

All of the guests were thanked in an assembly, which began with the singing of their school song. SCHOOL SONG???!!??? What did I miss? We never had a school song. Surely someone could have penned a hit about Northdale public school!
