My school had a prayer. (It was a catholic high school, obviously)
It probably could have been turned into a song.

Goodness.. school songs. We had one when the Oxford Catholic schools had a big convergence at the Woodstock Community Centre. I still remember it...
"Green and White
Green and White
O'Neil Knights are dynamite"
We were all "supposed" to sing it, but no one did. Everyone in the complex was watching us. We choked.

Here's Mine...
All right!
Stop whatcha doin'
'cause I'm about to ruin
the image and the style that ya used to.
I look funny
but yo I'm makin' money see
so yo world I hope you're ready for me.
Now gather round
I'm the new fool in town
and my sound's laid down by the Underground.
I drink up all the Hennessey ya got on ya shelf
so just let me introduce myself
My name is Humpty, pronounced with a Umpty.
Yo ladies, oh how I like to hump thee.
And all the rappers in the top ten--pleas

No. We had no school song, that would be going back to the '70s though.
MISS MIDDLEMISS ?????
Now there is a perfect song title!
I'm sure there are a few tunes about her running about the school.....

I go to Banting...and we have a school song...but I've only head it once and that was when we were at an assembly....
and Andrea, good for you for going and speaking om the importance of reading...I think that most of the kids, when they get to high school, they get turned off by reading because they're always forced to read a book in school and the book tends to be boring...and they also don't get the time to sit down and enjoy the book...I'm one of those people that got turned off of readin
