Then perhaps they should just stop printing these spoof issues. I have a sense of humour, but I've never found their spoof issue to be funny -- this year's is no exception. Not only was the "spoof" issue not funny, but gives satirists a bad name. I'm totally appalled by the fact that these "articles", whether supposed satire or not, were published to begin with. However, what's even more disgusting about this is the Editor's "can't you take a joke?" attitude about it. Instead of taking responsibiliy for his actions (ultimately, it does come down to him as the editor of the publication), he dances back by mentioning the message was "lost in translation". What!?
