Being Ill

I was very ill on Friday. The illness actually started late Thursday afternoon, where I kinda felt like I was hit by a tranquilizer dart. Or at least I had hoped someone would just knock me out of my misery!



Thursday night I had a fever of 101.9 &.thats the highest it reached. 102 degrees. My body transformed into an oven. I was on fire yet felt like I was frozen. At that point I decided I should probably call in sick for work the next day. This is something I rarely do, call in sick. So the guilt kind of set in a little bit and I seriously debated whether I might be ok the next day. As Im calling my boss Im thinking to myself &what do other people say when they call in sick? Do you apologize? I always feel like I should say Im sorry, Im dying here. But, thats silly because its not your fault, you didnt go and catch something on purpose. What do you usually say?
