Over the weekend, I rented what turned out to be a fantastic movie (don't you love when that happens!) I didn't realize it was even available on DVD yet, seeing as it's nominated for a couple of Academy Awards this year. I haven't heard too much about it other than the basic premise of the film which is "family takes road trip to enter their daughter in a beauty pagent." Well, this movie is SO FUNNY. Stand out performances from Steve Carell and Alan Arkin is just unreal.
Rent it. It's totally good for a laugh and well written. It's called LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE.
