Funeral starts with Fun

Sorry, the title is in reference to a song by my friends in the local band Shotgun Rules. Shameless plug!





Today's blog has to do with an email I received the other day regarding proper funeral procession etiquette. It comes from Amber, she writes saying: What do you do when you're driving down the street and you see a funeral procession go past? You're supposed to STOP and PULL OVER just like it's an emergency vehicle!!! Apparently though, most people don't know this, as they seem to think that butting in the middle of the procession by driving through it or ignoring it is the proper thing to do.





Well, in a somewhat related story. This reminded me of the first time I pulled into my underground parking at my apartment building. I live about a block or so from a funeral home. So, Im driving into the garage, look to my left and see three hearses parked. Yep, three grey Cadillac hearses. Suffice to say, I quickly found out, that the funeral home down the street rent spots in our underground garage. Freaky!
