Don't Diss The Dylan

Soooooooooo this morning on the TUCKER N TAZ show, I woke up to callers giving their thoughts on the Foo Fighters and Bob Dylan show at the John Labatt Centre this past Friday night. Majority rules and a lot of people thought the Foo Fighters were amazing and Bob Dylan "sucked." Ok, not all used such words in reference to a legend but most people expressed that they thought his performance was terrible.



Have to admit I was disappointed too. I can't say as though I cared for the bluesy re-working of such classics like Maggie's Farm. Yet it's understandable in that artists have to grow and change, you can only play those songs so many times as they were originally written and recorded. Post concert I decided I much prefer Bob Dylan as he appears on his albums. The lack of crowd interaction was to be expected though, come on it's Bob Dylan he's odd! In the end, it was the type of show I could have easily enjoyed at home on DVD.



THANK YOU Bob Dylan for coming to London because you gave me a chance to see you at least once in my lifetime. You are one of the greatest songwriters of all time.
