Halloween costumes

As soon as October begins, I seriously start thinking about what to be for Halloween. I hate trying to scramble a costume together as we all rip thru stores last minute to find something. Lately, I have given this some thought and hate to admit because I love the holiday and look forward to it every year, but Im not sure what I want to be yet. The problem is, throughout the year I know I have come up with ideas (things that were great at the time) and now I cant remember any of them.
Any suggestions?
