You can't justify violence

Wednesday, August 02, 2006

A 30-year-old man beaten in the mosh pit at Sunday night's Family Values show in Atlanta, Georgia has died from his injuries. Andy Richardson was earlier declared brain dead and listed in critical condition after two unidentified men attacked him at the show. This happened when Richardson asked the men to be careful around his pregnant girlfriend and a mentally challenged child accompanying them. The two men left the area, but returned later. According to eyewitnesses, one of them punched Richardson in the head and knocked him head first onto the concrete floor.

This is one sad story as no one deserves to die for attending a concert. Some say, he didn't have any business being anywhere near the front and/or centre of the floor with a pregnant girlfriend and a child. One fan was quoted as saying "According to news, he got mad at guys for pushing and moshing around a pregnant girl. You can't get mad that your girlfriend, pregnant or not, is getting pushed when you guys are close to the stage. Again, it is tragic, and the guy definitely doesn't deserve to be in the state he is in, but you gotta know these things going to a show like Family Values." - this was written prior to the guy's death, but while he was laying in the hospital on life support.

WHOSE FAULT IS THIS ???? No matter where this guy was standing, who he was with, he was still punched hard enough in the head that it knocked him unconscious and led to his death! These two "unidentified" a$$holes are the sole cause of his death. If they didn't punch him none of this would have happened. It's hard to believe that over something so stupid, someone died just watching a freakin concert. Wow.
