Generally speaking I agree, but there are times (this happens to me a lot), not a lot on city streets but primarily out on the major or minor highways, what already dead roadkill cannot be avoided. I just wish people would be more careful where possible. Our children see this on the roads.

Dead animals on roads and city property are picked up by the City of London's contracted company (661-4965), not private companys like your second phone number. The location of the animal also needs to be reported so that it can be removed more quickly.

Agreed. How hard is it to avoid an already dead animal? If it were a person lying in the middle of the road, would you run it over? However I have heard of some people who get their kicks from running over animals - dead or alive. I think it's pretty hard to run over an alive animal, let alone an already deceased one. Some people just could care less - it goes along with the overall laziness/carelessness of society as a whole.
