INTRODUCING THE ..............MACBOOK AIR!

Apple is launching an ultra-thin notebook called the MACBOOK AIR. It's 0.76" thick and weighs 3 pounds. It features LED backlighting on its 13.3 " screen, a multi-touch keyboard and a backlit keyboard. It has 2 GB of RAM and an 80 GB hard drive. It retails for $1,799. (US)

Released in 1981 by the Osbourne Computer Corporation, the OSBOURNE 1, is considered to be the first true portable computer - it closes up for protection and has a carrying handle. The screen is only 5" in size and can't display more than 52 characters per line of text! It weighed about 25 pounds and sold for $1,795 (US) - same price as Macbook!
