This is my music blog. So, each week I’ll post a blog about what I’m listening to and currently enjoying. Feel free to add your comments below.
Songs to check out this week:
Tokyo Police Club “Tessellate” – love it ...from the opening drums to the line "we're running barefoot you and I." This little band from Toronto is making a name for themselves worldwide, so take note. Other tracks: Juno, In A Cave, Your English Is Good and Sixties Remake.
The Priddle Concern "Care About You"– this band is for those who wish Greg Norri would give Bill Priddle the mic back in Treble Charger. It's like a flashback to the 90s and that signature sound of old school Treble Charger.
Weezer "Pork and Beans” – this is the first single from Weezer's upcoming "The Red Album." It's fun, it's summer, welcome back Weezer.
Blind Melon "Wishing Well” – I don't mind this song even though Blind Melon to me was always just about Shannon Hoon and the magic he brought to the band. I think Travis Warren does a decent job of fronting the revised band. It's worth a listen.
