Songs to check out this week:

Beck "Chemtrails" – this is the first single released from Beck's new album called Modern Guilt. Once again, Beck has reinvented his sound and style by channeling a little Jefferson Airplane on this one. This morning I let the song play a few times, streaming off Beck's website and I like it more with every listen. It's different and odd - just like Beck.

Weezer "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived" - this song is currently available for download through Itunes, as the full album is not out till June 3rd. This is classic Rivers half singing, rapping, talking his way through another sure to be hit song. Oddly enough, it is another attack at the current state of the music industry (from Weezer, what a shock?!!?).
