Songs to check out this week: 

Vancougar "Philadelphia" – I just really like the name of this band, how funny is that? They kinda sound like Neko Case.  

Winter Gloves "Let Me Drive"  - Does the name of this band not scream Canadian? Yes, they are from Montreal and certainly one to check out when you have some time. 

Hey Rosetta "New Goodbye" - This band is worth discovering, but they won't appeal to everyone with their distinct sound. They do kinda remind me of Snow Patrol, but better!

U2 "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" - An oldie, but a goodie from the Batman Forever sndtrk, which the song is better than the movie it was written about. I played this recently on the air and forgot how much I enjoy it.

Billy Joel "Only The Good Die Young" - This year marks the 30th anniversary of a classic album: The Stranger. Everyone needs some Billy Joel in their library.
