Federal authorities say they have arrested a blogger suspected of violating copyright laws by …streaming songs from Guns N' Roses unreleased album, `Chinese Democracy,' on his website.

Earlier this summer, he had posted 9 unreleased songs on his website called Antiquiet. The site received so much traffic that it crashed.

Well, FBI agents arrested 27-year-old Kevin Cogill this morning.

This seems to be a more prominent issue in the States, than it is here in Canada ….and prior to this arrest ….most pirates have faced the threat of fines, not prison time, but thanks to a new federal copyright law it’s possible (3 years even.)

This guy is the first to be charged under the new federal law in the West.

When he gets out Axl Rose is gonna owe him a Dr Pepper I think.
