Well, there goes another WORLD SERIES. This year, since the Tigers didn't make it nor the Jays, I decided to root for the underdog: being the Colorado Rockies. I thought maybe they had a chance, well, I was wrong by a long shot. The Red Sox were just too good.

However, this year marks the 3rd series sweep in the 4 years since the Sox ended their 86 year drought in 2004. The Red Sox are unquestionably the deserving World Champions of 2007. They are the best team in baseball. But, if you are not a fan, who cares? How is a 4 game sweep exciting?

Baseball has become a bore especially for Canadians. We never have a collective team to cheer on. Year after year, the Jays are nowhere to be found. Instead, we relish the 1993 World Series homer by Joe Carter, as the last great moment. Now, that was a party!! Don't you miss gathering around the tv with friends or jumping in the streets after a win?

I'm jealous of Red Sox fans - Boston gets another tea party and we're missing out.
