I was thinking...you know how there are some things that you just take for granted, things that just happen, and no one really knows how they do? What about mail? In this age of email, the standard post card in the mailbox is a lost art. But think of it. How does that post card go from that souvenir shop to the recipient? Mail is smart. You put it in the mailbox, and days (or longer) it arrives at the door of the person you've sent it to. How does that happen? It just seems like the most amazing thing that this piece of stock paper can find its way around the world to the address you scribbled on the front. I still remember as a kid watching Polka Dot Door and watching in amazement when they took the field trip to the post office, I kinda wish they'd show that episode again...
