I turn 32 on Monday. I'm getting old.

Remember when you were young and all you did was look forward to getting a year older? At 16 you could drive, 18 buy lottery tickets, 19 it was beer and at 21 you could drink in the states! But since then, what is there to look forward too? At 65 you can retire and get discounts at the Zellers Restaurant, but then what?

I don't even really know what I want for my birthday. My kids are coming to my place this weekend, that's a good enough gift for me. Hannah wants to take Daddy for a special birthday dinner - to Taco Bell. The gift that keeps giving.

Then there's the Facebook birthday celebration. The day that everyone on your Friends list posts a happy birthday wish on your wall. Really, I don't know you, I just didn't have the balls to turn down your friend request, but thanks.

So as of Monday morning, I'll be another year older. Can't even say another year wiser, cause I still make the same stupid mistakes everyday!

Let's raise a glass to ME...on MY birthday! To being 32...another year closer to adult diapers!
