I've discussed the iPhone a few times on this very blog. I commented on how "I needed one." I had grown out of that, really I had...until yesterday. I'm now the owner of a bouncing new iPhone (not exactly sure if it bounces and I'm not willing to find out)
I decided that my old Nokia flip phone was doing the job, and that I had no need to rush out and be one of the first to own the iPhone. After finishing a call yesterday morning, the flip phone, would no longer flip. It just stayed open. Wouldn't close. Made it kind of awkward to carry in your pocket. I took it in hoping that it was still under warranty, all the while trying not to make eye contact with the gadget laden iPhone. My warranty was up and I needed to find a new phone. It didn't take much convincing for me to agree to adopt my new best friend. As I was standing in line awaiting my new baby, there was a "seemingly" normal gentleman just down from me buying his own iPhone. I say seemingly because he was far from normal. He was doing a lot of fist pumping, high fiving and just loving that he now owned an iPhone. He noticed I was doing the same and he said, "Hey buddy! It's the BOMB!! It's the BOMB DIGGITY!" I was unaware of this. I must have been living under an iRock.
I spend a good 5 hours last night becoming better aquainted with the iPhone. And I am now convinced, it is "THE BOMB DIGGITY!" I am now an iLoser.
