Last week the people at Facebook implemented a new layout. Who knew a simple social networking site like Facebook would cause such a stir? Who knew that consolidating your mini-feed and wall, seperating your profile into tabs and creating a cleaner look would make people go bananas?!

Hundreds of Facebook groups have popped up, "I HATE THE NEW FACEBOOK!" "PETITION TO KILL THE NEW FACEBOOK!" "I HATE MY LIFE AND THE NEW FACEBOOK!"

Really people?? It's a stupid website? Yes, I'm on it. And yes, I spend way too much time on it...but in the end, it's Facebook!! Post pictures, chat with friends, creep strangers profiles...Does changing the layout really throw your life off the rails?

Listen, if this many people got pissed off that a cure for cancer still hasn't been discovered, we'd have it cured by now!

This would all make sense if it was just a bunch of 14 year old mall rats complaining about the new layout, but it's not. It's grown men and women who take time out of their busy lives to create the "I F'N HATE THE NEW FB!" group.
