Well by now we're all familiar with the Lingerie Bowl....for a few years, they did it during the halftime at Superbowl.   Well, after "nipplegate", when the FCC went nuts and conservative-minded people everywhere complained, it was axed from TV.   

What you may or may not know, is that The Lingerie Bowl spawned an actual League.  It's known as....well....The Lingerie Football League...and it's becoming quite popular!

In 2006 it started out with 4 teams...and in 2008 it has expanded to 10 teams!  The league is ready to roll out it's inaugeral season in the Fall of 2009 and will broadcast on cable TV.

Naturally the teams all have sexy names and are centred in and around major US cities.  This year's league is comprised of:

Los Angeles Temptation.

New York Euphoria

Dalla Desire

Chicago Bliss

Atlanta Steam

Seattle Mist

Miami Caliente

San Diego Seduction

Tampa Breeze

Phoenix Scorch

Now, even though the women must be "beautiful" to play, they also must be athletic and actually have skills.  I enjoy half-naked women as much as the next dude...but would you watch the games if they were boring, or couldn't pass or throw?   Do you think Canada should start something like this?   Naturally Toronto would be the logical choice for a franchise....what would you name the team?
