Summer is convenient. Seriously, beyond the warm sunny days, short-shorts and patio drinkin’, I’m gonna miss the convenience more than any other part of summer. Right now, I get up every mornin’, grab my shorts beside the bed and let the dog out (I know I know). It’s convenient to just walk outside and stand there in my backyard with barefeet, shorts and no-shirt. But this morning, as my dog did her business, it was the first morning I noticed “Dang my nipples are HARD” which means it’s getting cooler…and that sucks. I love Summer because I just wear shorts and a tee around home and if I need to run an errand or run out somewhere, I just give my clothes a quick sniff and check for stains and I’m ready to head to the beer store or do a quick grocery shop.
I’m not looking forward to the days when I gotta wake up, put on longjohns, pants, socks, shirt, jacket, toque and boots just to watch my dog relieve herself in the snow.
