That statement is 100% true.

Seriously...is there a more annoying fruit in the world?

I submit that there is not.

They are simply too much work and are waaaay too inconsistent.  One time it peels nicely, the next time you can't peel more than an inch piece and you get orange rind under your nails and it's covered in whitey-bitter stuff and you've poked holes in it and there's sticky juice running down your hands and everyone complains about the smell and it stays on your fingers for the remainder of the day....and for what?     They're good...but not THAT good...all you really want is the orange juice flavour...so why not just buy juice??????????

At least Clementines are small and easy to peel.

Oranges are the dung beetle of the fruit world.   (Dung beetles being the lowest of the low in the beetle world)

 Sorry Florida...get a new spokesfruit...like um Peaches!  Tasty, no peeling required, and you can huck the pit at your co-worker's face!   And you can start a war with Georgia (The dung beetle of the States).
