A little while ago Sarah Kelly, Chris McLeod and I all went to donate blood…why?    Sarah hadn’t donated in years, Chris had never donated, and me? Well I’m a regular blood donor and it was just my time to give again.  And…we wanted to have a race to see who could give the fastest.  It wasn’t even close.   Sarah’s blood was slower than molasses and Chris?  He claims he couldn’t donate because he was just inked 3 months ago (I’m thinking it had more to do with the handling of Monkey bodily fluids).

I’m a fast donor…like Speedy Gonzales on Swiss Cheese!  I don’t want to get all preachy about giving the gift of life.  Lots of people give to whatever charities, or volunteer their time for causes just as important to them, as donating blood is to me.   All I’m saying is, if you’ve never done it, but wanted to…do it!  It literally takes no more than an hour out of your day, and can not only save a life…1 donation can save several lives.  It’s virtually painless and the nurses and staff are very comforting.  If you’re unsure..I’ll go with you.  Email me at jbaker@fm96.com or call 1-888-2-DONATE.
