For a while now www.albumsix.com has been though to be leading us to new information about a new Weezer album. The site used to link you to Weezer's official website. So it was thought that it was just a great marketing ploy. The site even went as far as saying that the new album was coming out April 22nd and was to be titled "Tout Ensemble".  We all believed it! Even Rolling Stone and Billboard reported that it was real! yours truly also believed it. But it turns out that albumsix.com has no relation to Weezer at all and we have no new title or date of release for the record. My hats off to whom ever it was that had thousands of Weezer fans hopes up.  An album is coming in the spring....no word of when yet.

On to an album we know is coming.  Hopefully you've heard the On Going History Of New Music here on FM 96. I'm sure that you have. One episode is about Rivers Cuomo, the front man for Weezer. Rivers...is well...a bit weird to say the least. That episode will give you a lot of different examples of just how weird. So it makes me wonder what exactly River's new Demo's record will be like. Basically it’s all the songs that Rivers has demo'd but didn't think that they were right for Weezer to record. He's posted a clip of one on his myspace page click here to hear "Blast Off"
