A new, modern list of the seven wonders of the world was released this past weekend at a in Lisbon&.The wonders, chosen by about 90 million people casting votes online, by phone and by text message, over a year and a half, include:

" The Great Wall of China.

" The Colosseum in Rome.

" The Taj Mahal in India.

" Petra in Jordan.

" Machu Picchu in Peru.

" Brazil's Statue of Christ Redeemer.

" Mexico's Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza.

So we thought that we would try and find the 7 Wonders Of London Ontario.



We had tons of e-mail and phone calls which included such nominations as



The John Labatt Center

The Rhinestone cowboy from most London bars

The metal tree installations downtown

Insulin

The London Health Sciences Center

The cereal smell outside the Kellogs factory on Dundas

The Hilton hotel doormen in their tights and funny hats

The hot dog cart lady from outside Jim Bob Rays
