T&T want the city to pay up

In the paper the last few says there has been a lot of stories taking about the water quality problem in London.



The issue was test results showing higher than normal levels of lead in some city water samples. There was a story this morning about the Middlesex London Health Unit advising pregnant women and small kids not to drink the water if they live, work or go to school in the affected area.



One of the ways that London is planning to fix the problem is by replacing the old pipes&but only to the property line&once the pipe goes inside the house or structure..its up to the owner to cover the cost of replacement&.I think that this is a public health issue and the city should do as much as they can to cover the cost of the replacement from city to private property&.What happenes if someone cant cover the cost of the new piping&should they be allowed to get sick???? Or is it like any other repair&if its your house&then&its your cost???
