Sarah wants to know why YOU drive like that

Southwestern Ontario was hit by a pretty bad winter storm over the weekend and the road conditions were pretty brutal. I happened to be traveling along the 401 during the storm on Sunday. I noticed something disturbing&&

It was near whiteout conditions and people were blowing by us in the fast lane going at least 110 when most everyone else was going 60 or less&.The worst part of this was most of the people driving so recklessly were in minivans and SUVs with kids in the back.

Maybe I missed something&do new vans and trucks now come with super sticky tires that allow for driving really fast in poor conditions????? Or is it that these people think that just because they are driving larger vehicles they can go much faster than the road conditions allow, risking their and MY safety???

Do you have a SUV or Van and still speed&and if you do what makes you so comfortable in bad weather????
