If you are a fan of Dateline NBC then you must have heard of their special To Catch a Predator series hosted by Chris Hanson.



If not....basically its a sting operation set up to lure pedophiles to a home where police can arrest them for trying to have relations with minors&.BUT before the cops slap on the cuffs&Chris Hanson pops out of nowhere and interviews the alleged weirdo about their explicit online chats&.



Dont get me wrong&.. I applaud the network and all the law enforcement who are working to put these creeps behind bars but I also wonder how life has changed for Chris Hansons friends and family&



For instance&.Picture asking a girl named Cindy Hanson out on a date&you arrive at the house and are asked to hang out in the kitchen for a few minutes while she finishes getting ready&then Mr Hanson comes around the corner and starts interrogating you predator style&.Im thinking that would be enough to put off many teenaged boys from asking his poor daughter to the prom&Do you think a parents line of work effects what kind of friends kids make???
