Taz wants to know what stay@home mom's do all day?

This morning Taz was wondering what I had been up to all day when I was at home on Mat leave with my daughter. He wanted to know if we ever get bored with hanging out with the kids and sit around and eat bob bons&



In his defense before I had kids I didnt have a clue what being at home all day was going to be like. Like Taz I thought that I would spend MOST of my time with the kiddo, but I would have time also to nap and watch T.V between feedings&. I was wrong&.instead I was running around trying to amuse the baby while simultaneously trying to balance a load of laundry and juggle pots and pans to get something that resembled dinner on the table&.I was, and still am amazed and how much longer it takes to do anything&



It takes almost as long to get the kid ready to go out then you were planning on being out in the first place&by the time you get them packed&have extra EVERYTHING (Just in case of accidents)&get them in their snowsuits, in their car seats and get them loaded into the car, youre running the better part of an hour behind&AND YOU HAVENT left the house!!!! and thats just one thing you have to tackle during the day&.



I will tell you that the hardest day of my life was this morning, I hated having to leave her, but its just one of a million things that I am going to go through as her mom (adolescence is only 14 years away!) I dont think that you can answer the what do you do all day question until you are looking a little person in the face and figuring out how you are going to keep them occupied for the next 24 hours!
