The press is hard on Belinda because she's a lady?

Hey there it's Taz...



Tie Domi and Belinda Stronachs love affair became front page news yesterday. Belinda is now saying that there is a double standard and this story is being blown out of proportion by the media because she is a Woman!!



Belinda thinks that her affair with Domi wouldnt be getting so much press if she was a male politician&.



Its quite obvious that this is a big story because BELINDA IS A CANADIAN MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT WHO SLEPT WITH A MARRIED NHL PLAYER. It has nothing to do with the fact that she is a woman.



If speaker of the house Peter Milliken was sleeping with Nelly Furtado it would be a big story.



Belinda  There are women who sleep with married men and it doesnt make the papers. You are an elected public official, and if you dont want your stupid decisions to become news then dont make stupid decisions.



Note though that Domis admitted affair with Relic Hunter actor, Tia Carrere wasnt nearly as publicized as Domis and Belindas. So maybe the fact that Belinda is a representative of our nations government warrants more the attention.



And if Tie Domi was sleeping with a man it would be an even bigger story!!
