Where are all the fireflies???

Now I know that I may be crazy here&but I cant remember the last time that I saw a real life firefly&.for some reason I dont think we had them where I grew up (just outside Barrie) at least I KNOW I never saw one&.But a few people I asked around the office said that London, does, in fact, have Fireflies!!! So if you have seen them or know why it is that they arent nearly as popular as they used to be when I was a kid&can you let me know???

Im not going to lie&this is all I have for now&I lead a p-r-e-t-t-y boring life..
