Life in prison should mean LIFE in prison.

Today convicted child killer Clifford Olsons parole hearing will take place. The fact that someone who performed such heinous acts on children is even given a chance at freedom is disgusting. Even more disgusting is that the Law states that he now gets the chance for parole every 2 years.



Thats right after serving a minimum 25 year sentence& criminals no matter how despicable are given the right to a parole hearing every 2 years. That means every two years Gary and Sharon Rosenfeldt whos son was killed by Olson, will have to come face to face with their childs killer to ensure he remains in prison. I dont think any of us could even imagine what it would be like to lose a son or daughter like that and then have to repeatedly confront that pain.



In reality it isnt very likely that this monster will ever be set free&But he should have lost all of his rights the day he decided to commit murder. He doesnt deserve the right to a parole hearing, and he sure doesnt deserve the right to torture the families of his victims every two years until he dies. A Life sentence should mean that you stay in prison for the rest of your LIFE! No questions asked. Especially in Clifford Olsons case.
