What ever happened to the passing lane on the highway? In theory, the left lane of 400 series highways is for traffic that is moving faster than all other traffic. I have spent hours an hours on the 401 in the last three months driving between Montreal and London every other weekend and I cant believe how many idiots I have to pass on the right because they have no idea how to drive.



I dont know if its a case of people feeling like they are driving fast enough and that no one should be driving faster than them? I dont know if it the view is better on the left side of the highway? I dont know if these left lane hogs are just there because they just dont get it?



What I do know is that these people who refuse to move out of the way are forcing people to drive dangerously in order to get around them. All I can say is STOP BLOKING THE PASSING LANE!!!!!!!!! The police have no problem giving a ticket to someone driving 125 or 130km/h but I think they are giving the tickets to the wrong people. I want to see the cops start pulling over the lane blockers!!! We need to take back our highways from these governors of speed.
