This morning I was talking about my experience at the toy store and how appalled I was at the fact that 90% of dolls marketed at little girls are all dressed up as prostitutes!! It wasn't one brand, but all of the Barbie's, Bratz and My Scene dolls...mini skirts and fishnets!! This made me wonder if the was the dolls looked was influencing the clothes these little girls were wearing...so to the mall I went..and sure enough..several stores who sell to the 6-14 year old were fully stocked with enough mini skirts, spaghetti strap sequined tank tops to sink a ship!! In one store I even found THONG underwear for a 8 year old *Barf*

My daughter is only 15 months old but I KNOW she is going to be bugging me for all this stuff when she gets older because *ALL* of her friends have it too...How do I start now to let her know that's it's not cool with me that she wants to dress up like a 25 year old!!!
