Things that are "Soooo Toronto"

So there I was, sound asleep at 1:37am when my cell phone rang.  I sprung out of bed thinking that I had slept through my alarm.  After realizing that I hadn’t I then figured that something bad must have happened.  When I picked up the phone it turned out to be a woman who was calling to tell me that a radio interview scheduled for 9:00am needed to be moved.  Who the hells calls someone at 1:37am to make note of something so minor?   Now it may just be me, but knowing where this woman works it became apparent to me that these were the actions of a total Torontonian workaholic.  I can imagine this woman working all night in her tiny overpriced downtown Toronto Condo assuming that everyone must have a work cell phone or blackberry that we all turn off  at night so we can collect our voice mails.  I said to myself “that was soooo Toronto”.   Last week I was in the T Dot and I came across a couple of guys decked out in their Leafs jerseys.  Montreal was in town to play the Leafs that night and so I asked them who won.  Their answer was… “oh we lost in a shootout”.  The thing is, I didn’t lose because I’m a proud Habs fan.  That’s another thing that’s “soooo Toronto”, the fact that Toronto hockey fans always assume that everyone walking their streets must be a fan or the Leafs.  I was just curious if anyone else notices stuff that's sooo Toronto?
